From February 2014 new - improved Ecotone Telescopic Mist Nets Poles! Now even more durable thanks to applying epoxy resin as a main component and easier to open up due to changed design (see photos).

Designed and produced by ECOTONE for mist-netting. Main features:

• lightweight telescoping construction make these poles easy to transport and operate
• strong enough to support 20m-plus nets and the weight of heavy birds
• all surfaces finished in mat black – poles do not scare birds
• top of each section reinforced with a metal ring
• reduced flexibility - walls are more than twice as thick as those used for fishing rods • bottom section fitted with strong spike to anchor pole in the ground
• can be easily folded when removing birds or bats from higher parts of the net
• secure section’s joints - poles do not collapse occasionally when operating
• non-conductive material reduces the electrical hazards commonly associated with metal poles
Each pole comes with multi-language fluorescent information label “SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT”

Please note: To set up a mist net you need two of those poles.
